Every service I offer starts the same way — with a conversation. Whether you're dreaming up a memory quilt, need a logo embroidered on a hundred hats, or just want something special made for someone you love, I work with you from start to finish to make sure what comes off my machine is exactly what you had in mind.

T-Shirt Quilt

Don't let those t-shirts sit in a box forever — turn them into something you'll actually use and treasure. Whether it's a collection of concert tees, sports jerseys, college shirts, or shirts from a loved one who's no longer with us, I'll carefully transform them into a custom quilt that keeps those memories close for years to come.

Each quilt is made by hand, start to finish, with the same care I'd want for my own family's keepsakes.

How the process works:

  1. Reach out — Fill out the inquiry form with details about your shirts (how many, sizes, condition) and what you're envisioning.

  2. Consultation — I'll follow up to talk through layout options, sizing, backing/binding choices, and answer any questions before you commit. If you have a specific layout, please send me a picture. I will do my best to lay it out as you want.

  3. Send your shirts — Once we've agreed on the details, you'll mail in your shirts (instructions provided).

  4. Quilting — I'll cut, stabilize, and piece your shirts into a custom quilt top, then quilt and bind it.

  5. Delivery — Your finished quilt is carefully packaged and shipped back to you, ready to be wrapped up in memories.

Current turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from the time I receive your shirts. If the expected time changes, I will let you know during our consultation.

How pricing works:
A $100 deposit is required to begin your quilt and reserve your spot in the queue. This deposit is credited toward your final total.

The final cost is calculated at $19 per shirt-side used (a front-only or back-only design counts as one side; using both the front and back of a shirt counts as two sides). This rate covers everything — material prep, batting, backing, binding, and the labor to piece and quilt your finished top.

Once your quilt top is complete, I'll let you know the final shirt-side count and total. The remaining balance (final total minus your $100 deposit) is due before shipping.

Example: A quilt using 12 shirts, fronts only = 12 shirt-sides = $228 total. After your $100 deposit, the remaining balance would be $128.

A couple of notes:

  1. Please do not cut your shirts. All preparations and cutting will be done during the design process.

  2. I can use most materials: cotton, jersey, jackets, but please be mindful of zippers and buttons. Most of the time these come off during the quilting process.

Custom Memory Quilt

Custom memory quilts combine printed photographs, embroidery, and fabric design to create something your family will treasure for generations — perfect for marking a graduation, wedding, anniversary, birth, or the memory of a loved one.

One quilt I made was for a woman who was beginning to forget the details of her own life. Her family chose photos from the years she remembered most clearly, and the finished quilt became something she could hold onto — literally and emotionally. That's the kind of impact a memory quilt can have.

What goes into your quilt:

  • Photos printed directly onto fabric

  • Embroidered names, dates, or messages

  • Your choice of colors and fabric to match the occasion

  • A layout planned around your story, not a template

Custom Embroidery Services

From a single sentimental gift to a full batch of business swag, I offer custom embroidery on hats, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and more. Whether you need one item or many, your logo or design is stitched with care and precision — perfect for businesses, teams, events, family reunions, or anyone who wants something made just for them.

Item options:
You're welcome to provide your own blank items, or I can supply them for you — whichever works best for your project.

How it works:

  1. Send your logo or design — Email your artwork to sewcharlieann@gmail.com, along with the item(s) you're interested in and quantity needed.

  2. Consultation — I'll follow up to confirm design details, thread colors, placement, and whether you'd like me to supply blanks or you'll provide your own.

  3. Embroidery — Your items are stitched by hand on professional embroidery equipment.

  4. Delivery — Finished items are carefully packaged and shipped or made available for pickup.

Pricing & Turnaround:
A $40 digitizing and setup fee applies to each new logo or design, covering the work to prepare your artwork for embroidery.

Standard turnaround time is 1–2 weeks from the time I receive your items. Need it sooner? A rush order (under 2 weeks) is available for an additional 20% of your total order cost.

Longarm Quilting Service — Edge to Edge Finishing

You made the quilt top — let me finish it. I offer edge to edge longarm quilting to take your quilt top from pieced to polished, with a custom quilting pattern chosen just for your project. Whether you're a quilter who needs finishing help or someone who has inherited an unfinished top and wants to see it completed, I'll treat your work with the same care I'd give my own.

Pricing: $.02 per square inch
(Examples: a 50x60 inch throw = $60 | a 60x80 inch twin = $96 | a 90x108 inch queen = $194)

Deposit & Payment:
A $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot and get started. This deposit is credited toward your final total. Once your quilt is complete, I'll calculate your exact total based on the finished dimensions and bill the remaining balance before shipping or pickup.

How it works:

  1. Reach out — Fill out the inquiry form with your quilt's approximate dimensions and any pattern preferences.

  2. Consultation — I'll follow up to confirm your quilt size, discuss edge to edge pattern options, and provide your estimated total before work begins.

  3. Deposit — Pay the $50 deposit to reserve your spot in the queue.

  4. Send your materials — Ship your quilt top, backing, and batting to me (instructions provided after consultation).

  5. Quilting — Your quilt is loaded on my longarm and quilted edge to edge with your chosen pattern.

  6. Final payment & return — Your remaining balance is collected, then your finished quilt is either mailed back or available for local pickup in the Scottsville, VA area — your choice.

Turnaround time: 2 weeks from the time I receive your materials.
